Another game-changing SPF from @beautyofjoseon_official ✨

This is their Tinted Sunscreen, a mineral formula which imparts a really sheer wash of colour.

It’s very runny and feels super lightweight on the skin. It spreads like a serum and offers very light coverage.

This actually feels quite oily when it first goes on, but eventually dries down to a semi-matte finish.

I like this for minimal makeup days but I do need to use quite a lot of it to feel I’m getting an adequate level of sun protection.

I’ve also noticed that the bottles they’re selling in the UK are SPF 30, while they’re SPF 40 elsewhere. Does anyone know why this is?

Overall, I do think this is worth trying, especially since there’s a fairly decent shade selection. It sits nicely on the skin and layers well - definitely the best tinted sunscreen I’ve tried so far! 😍

@thankyoufarmer Sun Project Water Sun Cream* 7/10
This sunscreen is light, moisturiser-like and super hydrating. The finish is also VERY dewy. I personally find it a bit too glowy for my skin, but I think dry skin types would enjoy it. If you have combination or oily skin, this formula is probably a no-go.

@etudeofficial Soonjung X Director’s Moisture Sun Cream 8.5
This is a bit of a hidden gem. It has a lotion-like consistency which blends really easily, and doesn’t feel sticky or oily on the skin. The finish is semi-matte so it’s good for oily/combo skin types. The flip cap is my only bugbear because it makes it a little tricky to dispense the product.

@skin1004official Madagascar Centella Air-Fit Suncream Plus* 6/10
This is probably my least favourite of the SKIN1004 sunscreens I’ve tried. That’s not because this is bad, the other SKIN1004 SPFs are just top tier! This is a physical sun cream which has a beige tint to it. It’s great for evening out redness but the mineral UV filters do mean that this leaves a white cast on the skin.

@tocobo_official Bio Watery Sun Cream* 8/10
This has such a lovely formula - it’s very watery and dewy. It sits well on the skin and doesn’t pill under makeup. However, the scent is pretty strong and this is where it loses points for me.

@dermatica.skin Balancing Glycerin Gel Cleanser* 🫶 - Gentle and unscented, this is the perfect non-stripping gel cleanser. I highly recommend it for easily-irritated skin.

@cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence 🫶 - This one needs no explanation, it’s an icon for a reason. Really hydrating and super calming, it’s a must for dry, sensitive skin!

@otpskin 24/7 Moisturiser* 🤷‍♀️ - I love how this smells and how easily it blends into the skin. The only thing that would stop me from repurchasing is that it pills quite a lot if you don’t pair it with the right products.

@round.lab Birch Juice Sun Cream 🫶 - Easily within my top 3 when it comes to sunscreens. I love how moisturising it is and how natural the finish is. Most importantly, it doesn’t sting my eyes!

@glowhubbeauty Beat the Bacne Body Cleanser 🫶 - Simple but effective. This smells nice and really helps improve skin texture.

@beautyofjoseon_official Ginseng Essence Water 🫶 - This is soothing and very lightweight. It’s also absorbs quickly and layers well, no complaints here!

@thebodyshop Almond Milk Body Butter 🫶 - This feels so luxe. It smells great and has such a rich texture. It takes a little while to massage into the skin but it does dry down to a nice non-sticky finish.

Merit just launched two new products, here are my thoughts!

Signature Lip Liner 🌸
I really love how soft and creamy this liner is. It applies smoothly without any tugging, and you get a lot of colour payoff with just a light touch. This blends really easily for a soft, diffused look and it feels super weightless on the lips - no waxiness at all! The fact that it’s retractable is a HUGE plus! It’s cool that it also comes with a built-in sharpener, but at £21 for 0.3g of product you’re not really going to want to shave this down! The formula is beautiful but there’s not a lot of product, I can see myself getting through this quite quickly!

Shade Slick 🎀
This is part of Merit’s new The Sheens collection which is actually a completely different formula to their original Shade Slicks. The Sheens are more nourishing, longer-wearing and have a subtle pearlescent finish. This has quickly become my go-to lip oil - it’s so hydrating and really comfortable to wear. I love that this isn’t sticky or heavy, and it’s still decently pigmented (even for a sheer formula). Pointelle is such a stunning ‘my lips but better’ shade and it goes so well with the lip liner in Coupé.
